Yes, all treks are by appointment only. Treks can be booked here. For group/corporate enquiries, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We generally run treks at 10am and 2pm every Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, we will add treks on some weekdays and bank holidays.
The trek costs €30pp. This will allow you to lead an alpaca for the duration of the trek.
Our treks currently take place on the grounds of the Glenview Hotel in County Wicklow.
The trek experience lasts for approximately 2 hours. The trek itself lasts 1 hour and we cover 2-3km. As the alpacas are quite slow walkers when haltered, the trek is very leisurely and suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
The trek is not suitable for children under 6. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on the trek who can take over leading the alpaca in the case that the child becomes uncomfortable/tired. There is no maximum age!
We do not have a waiting or cancellation list, our treks are filled on a first come, first served basis. We post up any cancellations that we get on our Facebook page here.
Unfortunately visits to the farm are not possible at the moment.
If you have booked a trek with us, you will receive an email the week of your scheduled trek, usually 3-4 days beforehand, with all the relevant information you will need (location, meeting point, what to wear etc.).
You will need to give us a minimum of 3 working days notice in order to receive a full refund.
You will need to email us with your preferred date and time, from our current availability which you can view here. A minimum of 3 working days notice before your scheduled trek is required to reschedule your trek free off charge.
